Description
We should consider switching to a other VCS so we can allow access for other people and for other benefits.

Some packages switched the VCS, some didn't. In addition it seems the general interest in this topic is low now. It seems to me that we reached a state everybody is happy again. So I close it as 'worksforme' (as it seems to me this problem doesn't exist anymore)
