Release Checklist

The following release checklist is for the RoarAudio package. It may may be used by other packages, too.

1. Update manpages to match Binaries
2. Update ckport database
3. Check versions in Makefile.inc
4. Test on all Release critical systems?
5. Test on all other systems you have access to
6. Update README to list test results
7. Set release date in ChangeLog?
8. Tag the release in VCS
9. Export package from VCS
10. Run release-helper
11. tar everything up
12. sign
13. upload
14. update download page
15. post on IRC (+topic)
16. post on RA/RS Announce
